Help: Pareto Optimality Checking
The Pareto optimality of the selected solution was checked.
If the selected solution was Pareto optimal, it equals the
Pareto optimal counterpart.
The user can continue the problem solution to the classification phase
from either the selected or the Pareto optimal solution as the current
solution. If the user has reached a satisfying solution (s)he can stop
with the Pareto optimal solution as the final solution.
The Pareto optimality is checked while the NIMBUS system can not
guarantee that the solutions produced are Pareto optimal.
Selection:
- Next optimization
-
Choose the global or local optimizer to continue with.
If you do not know when to use a local or a global optimizer,
select the global optimizer every now and then (not at every
iteration.) It requires more computing time but assures
more reliable results.
More information about the optimizers can be found form page
NIMBUS Optimizers.
Available operations:

- Continue with the Pareto optimal solution
- Continue to the classification phase by using the Pareto optimal
solution as a new current solution.
- Continue with the selected solution
- Continue to the classification phase by using the selected
solution as a new current solution.
- Stop
- Stop the solution process after obtaining a satisfying
solution.
